To Our Valued Customers:

Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. We wanted to personally share an update on our efforts to keep our operations up and running during the unprecedented, evolving COVID-19 situation. First, we wanted to make you aware of the Los Angeles County “Safer at Home Order for Control of COVID-19” issued on March 19th, 2020 and its impact on our business. For purposes of the order, American Drilling and its subsidiaries satisfy the definition of an “Essential Business” or “Essential Infrastructure or Operations” in the following capacities:

a. 13. (u) Military / Defense Contractors / FFRDC
b. 15. (b)(i) Healthcare Operations “manufacturers”
c. 15. (b)(ii) Essential Infrastructure “manufacturing deemed essential as part of the Essential Infrastructure Supply Chain”

Furthermore, for purposes of Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N-33-20, American Drilling’s continuing operation is “needed to maintain continuity of operations of the federal critical infrastructure sectors”, in the following categories:

a. Critical Manufacturing Sector – “Electrical Equipment, Appliance and Component Manufacturing”, “Transportation Equipment Manufacturing”
b. Defense Industrial Base Sector – “Production and Maintenance of Military Weapon Systems”

Accordingly, we want to reassure you that American Drilling is not required to cease operations under either the Los Angeles County “Safer at Home” Order or Governor Newsom’s Executive Order.
Furthermore, to date, we have not seen any changes in delivery of material nor learned of impending interruptions to production. We are currently maintaining the orderly flow of production in our facilities in Hawthorne and Lawndale and are working closely with our suppliers and logistics companies to coordinate shipments the best way possible.

Finally, we wanted to take this opportunity to advise you that American Drilling have implemented and will be continuing thorough, daily clean-downs of its sites and sanitizing all machine tools and delivery vehicles, and have implemented social distancing, wearing of PPE and a strict no attendance policy for any employees who are ill.

We have a dedicated team managing our responses and we will continue to provide timely updates as we learn more. Please know we are committed to standing with you during this uncertain time and the American Drilling family is ready and able to help. The health of our clients, employees and their families is of paramount concern at this moment. We sincerely hope you and your loved ones can stay safe and healthy during this outbreak.

We will communicate any updates via email. Thank you for your continued business.
